2009 Fall Fishing Exploits

Man I use to fish all the time. But like Steve said, the crowds got to me. I've seen fisticuffs on the river, just over poor etiquette . I just do winter steelheading now. But the rivers are totally blown out up here. I use to know the Vedder like the back of my hand but the entire river bed has changed with the big rains and flooding that's taken place the last yr. or three. Maybe we can get a grp. and go fishing some time Kris. Here in BC or down your way.

Rick,
I hear the Vedder has a big chinook run in it. Have you ever fished for those in there?

2009 Fall Fishing Exploits

I went up to the Lake yesterday with my gear hoping I could get out fishing for a bit. Nobody had there trucks on the lake wher the big fish are so I heeded the warning. We did drive over to the island on the ice road which had 16" of good ice. Its getting mild here for a few days with rain so I'll give it a couple weeks and check it out again.

Yes I have Kris, with a lot of luck. But with all the rain these days the river is like chocolate milk. I haven't had time these days lately to even look. I'll check again with some friends.

Don't forget about his kareoke talent! Oh, and isn't it convenient that he catches these big fish and then tells a fish story afterward....don't all fishermen do that?

Great article Kris. Didn't realize your writing-skills; and "wordsmanship".

Enjoyed reading about all that you are involved with in "life".

To be quite frank... you seem to be the most active member I know of. You "Umpire" baseball; hunt pheasant is SD; guide salmon fishing; ride a Nomad; plus at least four or more other activities in a year.

I want "your-life"!!!!! ;)

Signed;

Jealous and bored
