Kris,
Thanks for the great write-up. I read it all with great envy and wished that circumstances could have been different so that I could had ridden with you, even for only a day or two.

Oh well, I'm sure that there will be future trips and somewhere along the way we'll log a few miles (or kilometres??) together.

enjoyed your updates kris and i think i will heed your advice and take to the open road for about 10 days starting 8/20.going to some place called crescent city and i can hardly wait to get started.
