I probably have more "off color" type jokes in my joke bank than Mike. I try to pick the time and audience for these.... If your the type of man that understands never using the "C" word in a joke around women you understand my point. Wrong audience... JMO.
There is a difference in telling a joke with the "C" word with women around and calling a woman the "C" word........ Honestly I dont know that I know a joke with the "C" word in it.....Better go ask Pelosi what the "word" is.

doesn't count... it's spelled incorrectly. It's the "C" word after all...
Wompus still serves up bad taste like a boss.

Some things should be said here and some things not. I didn't see a big problem with the original joke that started this thread. After all, it was just a joke.

Gene... it clearly had racist connotations; and was clearly intended to have them.

The joke would only be funny to those that share its racist point of view.

The point was well made that if there were a black person considering joining VBA, their opinion of the group may unfortunately be swayed against doing so based on a joke-post like this -- or a continuous posting of race-ridden jokes.

On the other hand... I can remember hearing some blacks telling some of these types of jokes that were far funnier. They even had some about whites that were funny as I remember; but that was long ago.

All in all... whether someone is offended is sometimes related to whether the one telling the joke IS a racist or not. These types of jokes lose a lot of their steam when told by someone who isn't or if heard by someone who isn't.

All in all... these types of jokes serve no purpose; and in fact could be re-written to where the race isn't black... but possibly Mexican; White, Hispanic, French, Polish, Greek, or just pick any European country but Germany. The point is... the joke may not be so funny if the audience was the race that is the butt of the joke.

Despite the fact I don't always agree with Stator... there was somewhat of a point to be made. Just saying...
