Finally did it

Finally did it. 19 degrees outside, snow up the wazoo, street covered in snow and ice. Could not stand it anylonger. Jumped on the bike and went for a short ride. Just enough to get my heart going. Did not go far really and the scenery did not change much but I do feel better for it.

What? Nomad? H*ll no! Didn't you pay attention? Street covered with snow and ice and I only look stupid. Schwinn Airdyne. Then onto the Total Gym for a few reps. I'm trying to get rid of 15 lubs that have come home to roost starting with potatoes and gravy on turkey day and kept coming right through New Years. Hey, I figure if I'm going to meet some of you fine people this summer I don't want to have to walk around with my gut sucked in all the time and unable to breathe. Yea I'm vain, sue me. Wait a minute, Ann has a bowl of ice cream. This ain't gonna be easy.

Now I just need to keep it up. Will need some encouragement. Anyone want to join me? Less lard for the Nomad to haul around has got to mean better gas mileage. Better for the planet, that sort of thing. The thought of being buff again helps.

Why would someone want six-pack abs when you can have the whole barrel?
TC do you agree with me?

I'll join you in this Idaho. I'm also in the "need to lose a whole other person" group.

Alright!!!!! Our own little fat farm. Now, substitute carrots and celery for those snacks. What kind of exercise equipment do you have? Dust it off. Ye haw. We are off and running. Well in my case cycling. I'm 220 lubs right now. Headed for 205.

The Total Gym is very versatile. The Airdyne helps to get the heart rate up and the Total Gym works the old muscles. Went out to dinner last night with my wife and daugter and was good. Salad, steak, small order of baked beans. Movie afterwards with no candy or pop. I'm gonna hit the schwinn here as soon as everyone is up. Get some sweatin done right away. Now you know my plan, what's yours?
