FLAT TIRE FIXES?

[quote author=dogdoc board=general thread=1191591902 post=1191609114]S Do the mushroom plugs really work, seems it would leave a bump on the tire to deal with? quote]

DOC, The mushroom part goes on the inside of the tire.
Back in the old days I pluged a rear tire with a Stop n Go repair kit. It got me home. That kit had a hose that screwed into the sparkplug hole and then you started the bike and pressure from the piston going up and down worked the pump to fill the tire.

I carry a plug kit from Wally world and a mini electric compressor, also from Wally.
Where do you plug in an electric compressor? Have you added on a cigarette lighter plug?

Yes, I mounted one of those marine plugs (with flip cap) inside my left side cover.
