Back on after two weeks

After a two week camp-out I got back on the bike this morning for a little ride into the mountains of Virginia. You don't know what you are missing until you get back in the saddle. The road was built for cruising between 60 and 70 miles per hour with gentle curves, warm but not to warm. And the Beautiful, smooth Nomad purring along underneath me with some bagpipe rock keeping the beat of the motor and road. Then onto the twisting roads to a friends log cabin he built for a bit of archery and a meal starting with fried breaded fresh rattlesnake appetizers with a main course of bear and venison. then back on the bike for a couple of hours. Man it was a good day to be back on the bike.
