BD's a Darksider!!(Update)
After 5 1/2 hours of grueling labor BD's a Darksider! I did the complete rear end and driveshaft lube too.
Let me tell you, I ain't ever going to do it again!!! What a PIA to dismount and mount the tire & rim back on the bike! I'm going to be soaking in the hot tube tonight on drugs!!!! Did I mention grease? I smell like Honda Pro 60 moly! No wonder service shops charge an arm and a leg!! I struggled with that 185/75/16 tire and for a couple of fleeting moments thought is was too tall to fit I had that much trouble! But fit it does!! Now the handling issue: I'm at 35 lbs air right now just for a starter. Since I didn't go super wide the bike still goes into turns easy enough. You can tell you have to give it a little extra muscle but when you come out a a turn it straightens out real quick. Feels a little more "floating" sensation out back but I haven't had it on the highway yet. Did I say I needed a bath? shower and disinfectant?? I'll ride more later, right now I'm beat up!!
