Freedom 55!
Wow today January 20th, I turned 55 & after 39 years working for the federal Government, (House of Commons) I am officially retired. No more drives to the city...no more meetings....Let the good times roll!

Congratulations, sounds like you did it the "right" way. I retired last year at 53, but it was sort of forced on me. Still nice though.

Vulcanguy, welcome to the retirement side. I retired at age 45 with almost 28 years service between the army and the RCMP. I work but not like I used to. Have a pretty good job driving a Prevost motorhome for an executive who won't fly. Run back and forth to Florida through out the year. When not travelling, I look after his fleet of cars. In the summer I get to do a lot of riding. Life is good!!
