Freedom 95 Plan here

Hi Guy,

Enjoy yourself
as you are indeed a fortunate having held the same Job during these troubled years. Not to mention living within your means and able to enjoy your deserved pension.

Personally I have had 4 forced career plan changes and find myself being 68 Years Old BUT still in excellent health drawing OAS (Old Age Pension), CPP (Canada Pension Plan), and My monthly life Time Annuity after cashing in my Investments that got hit by the Stock market down side that started in 2007. Only to find this is not enough money to support my life style so I am now self employed doing what I like best helping people with Computer problems having lots of work.

With this last career change I am still dreaming and thinking like a teenager buying more Motorcycles that I have wished for and having the time of my life. With my 2008 Nomad, 2006 Goldwing, 2006 ST1300PA, and 2005 Burgman Executive all purchased since I turned 60 my life is only getting started.

So I figure when I hit 95 Years I will cut back on the Work and enjoy even more my Motorcycles and 22 years younger Wife.

Northern Dancer,

Life is Good,

Ron

One thing I never regretted about being a member of the Canadian Forces, able to retire in 2008 with a decent pension, on top of my disability pensions I don't have to be concerned about working again unless I get bored. I was just shy of 56 when I retired after 35+ years. No regrets.
