New Vaquero Rider in Ottawa
Hey Gang
Finally shifting over to a big cruiser after years of Sport Bikes and offroad riding. Picked up a 2015 Carbon Gray Vaquero just befire snow came. Waited all winter to have first ride this week. 2500 RPM break in needs to end but otherwise amazing machine. Cheers Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Hey Greygoose,
We have the same bike. Did the exact thing in buying it in the winter and waiting patiently. My dealership told me not to worry about the 2500 rpm break in. He just told me not to run it at a constant high speed or red line it. So I stay off the 401 and dont "giver" when taking off. It takes some getting used to. Its heavy and me coming off a FZ1, I found the ability to quickly manuever in the parking lot is gone. Keep the shiny side up eh. |
