I bought a 22 dollar one off e-bay and I used it maybe 4-5 times and the bleed button quit working. Pump still works.

I shipped some stuff to Canada, and now I have some money-changing tax collector, broker type agency chasing me for some kind of import fees. After the third demand letter for some chump change, I told them I'm not paying and to come get me. Haven't seen anyone yet??

Hi, I think the person receiving the goods pays the customs brokerage and import fees, not the sender.

Go to a "high-end" bicycle shop and ask to see their small air-pumps.

I bought a small unit that pumps "delicately" and precisely. It was designed for very small bicycle racing tires -- which is what you need for air-shocks. The air pump moves smaller amounts of air and will pump up to 80lbs of pressure (far more than you need for shocks); but the point is that each pump only moves a small amount of air.

Cost is from $25 to $50; but you can't get these types of pumps for less.

WTB - Air shock pump

I went into a REI sporting goods store last fall and bought one for $17. Like glwilson said, think bicycle shop. Mine has a gauge on the pump and is zero loss, very compact and works great. Just have to remove the seat to get to the valves.

I bought a pump from Dennis Kirk made by Progressive. I think I gave $46.99 + shipping for it.

WTB - Air shock pump

I walked into a bike shop and asked for a zero pressure let off air pump and they looked at me like I was stupid. They had a nice pump that would have worked, but the guage wasn't "fine" enough and read up to 300psi. They said they could not get any different ones, so I will just keep looking. I really don't want to pay so much for something I will only use a few times. I wish someone I knew had one I could just borrow. Anyway good luck finding one you like.

Sometimes you just have to spend the money. I bought a Progressive for around $50.
No offense but if my neighbor kept coming over and borrowing my stuff it would get old in a hurry. I would tell him to buy his own like everybody else has to.
Once you buy it you have it forever.
Not only that but when I used to borrow stuff I usually ended up with a broken used one and the person I borrowed it from ended up with a new one I had to buy for him
