Southeast Spring Rally anyone??

Helen, Georgia might be a good place. Good restaurants and lodging. Great roads. Wolf Pen Gap, Richard Russell Scenic Hwy, Brasstown Bald. Biker Heaven in the North Georgia mountains!

Southeast Spring Rally anyone??

I was thinking a little further south, like Key West

Kidding aside, that's a 2 day ride each way for me which turns into a week's trip, so I've got to see what's happening with work then.

Bob, that is what I was thinking too. I have looked at some camping/cabin places up that way and will investigate further.

It takes about 8-9 hours by slab to get up there from our house Joe.

I'll start looking at places to meet up. Do you want a hotel or one of the motorcycle lodge type places? They seem kinda cool cause you can get a cabin or set up a tent.

I sent him a PM about week ago and he still hasn't answered. Hope these bad economic times haven't caught up with him.

Southeast Spring Rally anyone??

7 hour ride for me from Crestview FL.... Not a huge deal for me (especially since I see German food which equals German beer...),

but for our south Florida bretheren-- Where is the Center Point'ish of the SE VROC region? Guess I shudda looked at the map BEFORE I got into writing this....argh:(

ok, looked at the map, and it would "APPEAR" that that would be near center'ish...would it be too cool for a comfortable gathering during this time of year?

Aloha

Derry

Southeast Spring Rally anyone??

http://www.highvalleyresort.com/cabins.htm

This place seems kinda cool. They have cabins for 4 or more or bunkhouses for 2 and also have camping for those that want to "rough" it. It is in Suches, GA. It has a big place that we could have a cookout in on Saturday night after a Saturday ride in the area.

I would be willing to contact them to find out what kind of rates we could get.

Another one is called Two Wheels Only

http://www.twowheelsonly.com/

I'll keep looking. We need to get a date too. Easter weekend is April 12.
