Nomads are meant to be ridden, not turned into a trailer queen. Ride her, man.

Sometimes to keep peace in the family (and if I want to ride when we get there) mine has to be trailered (wife does not ride)

As of now (may change) we are camping and the nomad don't pull the camper very well... LOL
Sheri was talking this weekend bout maybe getin a room () instead of camping. If so, we will ride.

VulcanE,
What brand fairing and trunk do you have and do you have any pics from the front?
How did you match the paint? Especially the silver.
One more, What mounts are you using for the trunk?

Just painted the fairing OEM 726 "Ocean metalic Blue". Now get it mounted, rub it down, polish it, and should be ready for the rally.

Got the fairing buffed out. Turned out slick but the color looks is a little darker. Might be me though.
Also installed Mustang seats and a driver back rest.

Nice Bike...Congrats

I bought my '08 Nomad several months ago and it only had 542 miles on her! I would be interested to see how you like the fairing as opposed to the stock shield. Enjoy the ride!

HI Rick, just saw this post, so I'll try to answer your questions. First off, Diana and I really enjoyed meeting you and Sheri at the rally........
My fairing is a Premeux, and the trunk is an '02 HD Ultra Classic king tour pak mounted on a Wompus rack. I matched the paint by taking a saddlebag into the local automotive paint store, and he used a device to determine the colors. The silver was an exact match right away, but the blue had to fully cure (about 2 months) before it was an exact match, and that's what the guy at the paint shop told me too. I got a pic from the front, and back.
