The no motorcycle policy has been in effect for years at Calloway Gardens.

Back in the 70's when vans were real popular they decided to keep all vans out also.
They are a privately owned business and they make the rules to see fit....

Here's a thought. There aren't any twisties, but how about Savannah? Lotsa history and interesting places. The 8th Air Force museum is in Pooler. Close access to all kinds of touristy places up and down the coast.

Savannah is a nice place, and I'm for it. I'm still partial to North Georgia and Tennessee.

How bout this: Base out at Guntersville Lake in AL. Trips to Cheaha Mountain, AL; Desoto State Park/Little River Canyon, AL; Cloudland Canyon, GA. Just a thought.

I vote yes and I don't have any clue what Gunterville is like.
The ride from Charlotte to there will take me thru some of the best motorcycle riding territory in these parts!
I'd offer my place in Charlotte as the rendevous/starting point for the NC'ers and anyone passing thru from parts further North and East.
