I plan on being in Daytona Friday evening and leaving on Saturday Evening or Sunday morning. I was thinking of doing the 150 mile mystery tour Saturday morning, but I think I'll opt for the meet up!

We are still alive and well at the Sea Oats. I will try to get someone to cover me for the biketoberfest ride and ride with you. I hope to meet Reaper and anyone else who comes.
We aren't allowing any Toyotas to park directly in front of the restaurant because we are not a "Drive Thru!!"

I was thinking about meeting at the Kawasaki tent at the speedway sometime around 10:30 or so. Then we can go to lunch around 11:00-11:30.

Sounds OK to me Ron! I assume you are thinking Saturday the 16th.

OK, I will try to email the three of you directly along with posting this here. Reaper (Doug) and Eggman (Scott) live around St Augustine, and Gramps (Eric) lives by Palm Valley. I live in Jax and its about 40 miles and 45 minutes to Scott's restaurant for me. From there to the Daytona track is about 65 miles and a little over an hour time wise. How about if I get to Scott's by 8:45 AM, that gives me a half hour for breakfast. Doug can you do something similar? Eric would you meet us there or would you want us to pick you up on the way? Either way can work.

If our goal is to arrive at the Kaw tent at the track between 10:30 and 11AM we should leave Scott's at 9:30 if we are all meeting there and maybe a few minutes before that if we are going pick Eric up by Palm Valley.

Sound like a reasonable plan? A couple days before hand we can all touch base re weather or other items that might have a last minute affect on our plans.

We'll be at Scott's (Sea Oats) between 8:30-8:45. Ross I hope you mean Palm Coast and not Palm Valley, I wouldn't mind the ride, but I'd hate to double back from Palm Valley :), (it's hell getin old ain't it, first the knees then the mind)

Ok so it looks like the NE contingent is set. Breakfast at the Sea Oats Caffe in St Augustine (8:30- 9:15 AM) then on to Daytona (KSU at 9:30 AM with plan to arrive at Kaw tent at Race track about 10:45 AM).
Should be the four of us (Doug, Eric, Scott and myself)if Scott can get a day pass. If there's anyone else from our area that wants to join in, reply here or email one of us or just be at Sea Oats in St Aug by 9:15 AM that Saturday.

And Wompus: BigSid and DKdixie are steering you right. The brake light you and I were watching from about 1000 yards back on the hill in the road at the Virginia rally was the one on Bigsid's bike. It is the ECHO 3730 R and you can get it from LSH.
