Update for Saturdays RTE.

Jim found a nice little ride around Sebring after we eat that should take about an hour. It will take us around the Lake and near McDill air force base. We'll end up on route 60 where we can split up and head home.

Have final gear case apart on my garage floor waiting for seals etc..

Ordered parts from dealer last Wednesday and they should have been in Friday. Still waiting.

If parts come in, and bike back together in time, I'll take 70 and 98 to Sebring. You will probably take a different route. If so, I'll meet you at Sonny's.

hope the parts come in. You'll have to tell why your NEW bike is in pieces though - is that normal maintenance?

Yes, they have a backup air strip in Sebring.

Normal swing arm, drive shaft maintenance. Found final drive gear oil in lower swing arm. Decided to change pinion gear seal before it gets worse.

Jim, weather is looking up, wife's sister is in from VA to bail me out of her work's Christmas party doings. Cousin/friend I lost's body will not get from FL to Military Cemetary in Culpeper VA for 8 more days for grave side ceremony which I will be in. So I am a "quite possible" attendee and would sure appreciate use of your spare room Friday evening. I'll know for sure Wens evening and will give you a call!

Well after talking with Jim last night and checking the weather today, it looks like i am going to have to bail on the RTE Saturday. Says rain in Jax, st Aug, Daytona and south coast Friday, Rain in Sebring Sat and rain all the way back to Jax. SO, Jim it will be a rain check on the hot wings and and offer to return the favor in Jax if you come up to check on bikes here!
