Don't know that they are taking a deposit. In all my travels, except once, did a hotel ever pre-charge my card. The only time that happened was at a Indiana State owned hotel in Turkey-Run State Park. The held that money for nearly a full year before I arrived... kind-of ticked me off.

I used my credit card to hold the room; and assume they'll charge the card once I check-out...

I am not quite sure why our rooms are called "premium" rooms other than they are on ground-level and they charge more for them.

But considering the drinking and carrying-on that will go on in the evenings, it would be best to stay on ground-level to avoid falling-up any stairs

I think the Premium rooms have a microwave and maybe a small fridge...

Thanks, I just made my reservation for the Wife and I. This is going to be a blast. They said they didn't have the "group rate" discount yet, and that I needed to call back in a few months to get switched to the group rate. Did anybody else encounter that or do I just need to call back tomorrow when someone else is on shift? I have a Premium King size reserved for the whole week (Coming in Monday leaving Friday).

Anybody coming from the Southeast and want to ride up together let me know.

Just made my reservation for 23rd to the 28th. The lady did not find VBA rate but told her Vulcan Bagger and she found it. For Brad, she said Premium rooms have irons, not sure about the board tho!!!
