BNG- If Greg gets his HD back in time & he trailers to Columbus, then it will be 3 vehicles, 2 trailers, 9 bikes & 13 people. My neighbor Alleykat (Kevin) will be driving my truck with trailer loaded with his bike.

Looking forward to seeing everyone here in Columbus on Saturday night.

How are you guys going around Indy? I will coming that way Sunday and know there is some construction around.

In May I went through there on a Tuesday in the morning hours. There were a few stops in traffic and some rough road, but it wasn't bad. I would think that Sunday wouldn't be bad at all. See you soon, Stretch!

I'm the newbie here and I am willing to follow you on whatever route you choose. However, if the route was further to the south we could take highway 46 through Bloomington on in to Columbus. Its been a while but it seems to me that is a nice ride. It also takes us through Nashville (IN), a nice little tourist trap with lots of shops, maybe the ladies would like it.

The route was chosen for time and distance... given the location from which each member was coming.

At this late stage in the game I would hate to make changes...

An interesting idea, but as Greg said, we've mapped it out for time, speed, and knowing where we are going to hook up with each other. That would be a good way back home though.

As for me and Donna, we might end up in Vermont or the Florida Keys (or both) before we head back home. Retirement is wonderful..... oh, I said that before didn't I. tsk tsk

As of today I have made reservations at a local bar & grill in Historical Downtown Columbus, IN If you watched the Sunday Morning show on CBS 2 weeks ago, you will see sveral of the locations where that segment was filmed. Saturday nite the tables are reserved for us at between 7:00 - 7:30. I took the liberty of inviting some of my good friends that we ride with often to join. They will be on their bikes as well. The place is less than 10 minutes from the lodging where everyone will be staying. I will ride out to meet all & follow me back into town.
For Sunday morning I have made reservations at a local favorite place. They are very fast & the food is exceptional. Looking forward to seeing everyone & meeting the new ones. Ride safe & keep in touch.

I am in so much of a need for a break that I cannot hardly handle it...

Given that I haven't had a bike to ride for nearly one-fourth of this year's season... I am ready!!

All I ask is that everyone pay attention while riding for this trip! While we want to get there as soon as possible; most importantly we want to get there safe!

Thank you Don and Mel for getting arrangements made in Columbus for us. We appreciate it; and dearly look forward to seeing you and your friends while there. Thanks for including us in your "inner-circle"!! ;)

Badger and Otter should be arriving at our house this evening before dark. They have about a 60% chance of rain. It has been raining heavy here but skies are clearing now. We are leaving for Normal, IL in the morning via Burlington, IA and Peoria, IL.

We'll see you as near to 11am as possible. That is the time I am targeting. Columbus won't be too far to get from there.

Maybe we can stop to eat lunch somewhere around Champaign or Danville. It would be just around noon or a little after by then. Just thinking aloud...

By the way... Ray was trying to call you today. Give him a call if you hadn't heard from him yet.
