Not really. It isn't too bad. With my boots my feet are flat; however my legs are almost fully extended to do so. Whereas with a lowering-kit I can slightly bend my legs.

You can tell the difference of the weight when pulling the bike up and off side stand due to the slightly increased height though. It is a bit easier with the lowering kit.

Dealer called me yesterday. They are beginning to make all the switches I asked for. It should be done by today. I will go up there to pick-up the stock seat and pipes.

If I ever sell the bike, it will be good to have the stock equipment since it is most likely the next guy won't be as short as a winter's day...

What pipes did you go with? I'm still undecided.

If you want the bike broken in for your riding season, I would be glad to bike sit for you, take it out for long rides and such so it is ready for you during your 3 month riding season :) Just tryin to be helpful.

You know Ron... That is an extremely nice offer by you. Just come and ride it down to FL. Shouldn't be too bad... Was only minus 15 degrees here this morning.

I didn't really have a choice on which pipes really.

When I had to switch pipes for fuel management reasons, the only ones in stock were the SE. They gave me a deal I couldn't refuse, so I went with them. They are fine. A bit louder than I like, but fine. I get compliments from those that like louder pipes, but to me I like a quieter sound.

I am switching pipes from my '09 to the '14 since the pipes were only a few months old. They are putting the '09's stock pipes back the '09. I had kept them.

I am also switching racks and passenger boards between the two bikes. My rack is the air-wing w/led's in it, and the boards are chrome. '14's rack and boards were just the standard issue. I also had to buy a reach seat for for vertical challenges.

Anyway, they agreed to make all the switches for nothing.

The bike will be in their warm storage until sometime in March to early April - which sucks!

I think a nice long 4-5 day weekend somewhere south is in order. I would go crazy having a new bike and having to wait 3-4 months to ride!

If I could figure how to do that I would. Direct south would be the nearest place. Texas maybe?

Greg, Are you keeping the original headers with the Cat or changing to true duals? I went with V&H true dual headers and the SE mufflers. I kept them on for about 2 hours of riding and brought them back. They were so obnoxiously loud, I couldn't stand them. They gave me a full refund on them and I got myself a set of NIB Rinharts for $400 on Ebay. Much easier on the ears. And you're right, the gearheads in the shop loved the SE's. The guy that sold them to me took my side.

Kept the cat. Just the slip-ons... I should have been specific on that.

They are the SE Cannons with the piston end caps. Total price installed out the door $235. As I said, I couldn't refuse the price.

However, they are, as you mentioned, loud, but will keep them.

I am going to ignore Scott's comment...
