NCR Weather improving...

Schedule's been extremely busy and the weather wet so far here too.

I haven't set any records for riding this year either. :(" title="" border="0"/>

I finally bought a motorcycle jack yesterday. Put it together and had my neighbor help me put the bike up on it the first time; just in case I screwed something up! Let me tell you... I was just a bit nervous; but things went well and I am confident with it now.

I looked at more expensive jacks (and boy can you spend money on those things if you wanted to); but opted for one that was far-less expensive from a regional farm-supply store located here. It will work for what I need.

Rain is possible tomorrow; so I'll work on the bike some instead of riding if it does rain.

NCR Weather improving...

It was a beautiful day yesterday (Sat) the temp was up to 77 a little windy. Had a surprise birthday party for youngest son 16yrs old 1-4 pm But after the party was over we got the bike out and rode on some great roads. Stopped & had dinner then made our way home. It was only about 70 miles round trip but it felt great to get out. We went to a biker friends house & made plans for our next ride. Good thing we took the car because we did not leave till around 2am and feeling quite good after the intake of some drinks. Not feeling to swell this morning as I type this post

I did only 50 miles yesterday. It's been windy as hell, so I took the topcase off to see if that helped, it did.

So, it's your topcase that has been causing all the wind lately? In that case I think you should leave it off! :)

No, but the bike doesn't handle as well in strong winds with it on the bike.
