First unread message

Will someone please explain why there is a link to jump to the "First unread message" in some threads but not others?

If there is no link to jump to the first unread thread then there has probably been no new activity since you read that thread.

the threads with "First unread message" are threads that was there the last time you was on the forum. The others are threads that was not there the last time you were on the forum.
