I am getting hammered at work. Code freeze is Friday. They expect my install to be ready by Monday. Ain't happenin'.
I even had to miss the last poker run of the season here too. That sucked, First place was $1000. It is put on by the local Shrine, which I am considering joining. Wanted to be there to rub shoulders but work is work. Gotta pay the bills right?

Funny thing. I noticed 5 people read this thread before me but I am the first to respond.

sorry been out riding not much time left made trip to galena with 9 other bikes this weekend 8 harleys 1 yami and the nomad great trip except for last hour on ride home got rained on and i only have computer at work

I have been busy with stuff. I have some things coming up I will discuss after it happens, but other than that, that is it. I really haven't been riding all that much. I better get some in, as winter is coming.

abbo it would be a good way to clear your head. I still remember how painful planning our wedding was.

Most of the time I just felt like I was in the way.

Yep, I am back again. Did a part time gig that was sporadic and at night, it had me travelling all over.

Also just got back from the St Jude Rides Peoria to Memphis ride. Had a great time, got very wet though... will put on pics soon. We raised over 257 thousand bucks with 117 bikes. Hope to open the ride up to some of the KawaNow folks that may like to ride with me and Robin.

Sorry I left you off the list Abbo; but you see what happens when you don't post.....

Sounds like everyone has been really busy this summer. Although there is a bit more time left to ride it is clearly coming to an end soon here in the upper-Midwest.

In looking back at this season's riding I thought at first that I didn't ride much; but soon realized I actually did get some great riding in.

I did a two-day loop with Biscuits-n-gravy and Rayski along the Mississippi up to LaCrosse and then back down on the MN/IA side.

I did Custer for over a week.

I did a lot of one and two-day rides all through out Wisconsin and along the upper Mississippi.

Got in one ride with baddad to Galena.

And I also was able to get in quite a few local rides done; as well as rode the bike to work several times (something that isn't real convenient to do in my line of work).

Anyway... will be painting the inside of my house this weekend and getting new flooring. (Sorry gofs99; but I can't make the Sunday run -- as much as I would love to.)

I hope that this weekend is all it takes to paint so I can get in another weekend or two of riding before it is all over.

Although I haven't been posting, I think of you all everyday. I've been busy working on my old house and doing family stuff. On 22 Sep, I spent the night in the local hospital. I had a nerve swell up in my left back and I couldn't walk or get out of bed. It was the worse pain I ever experenced. Also, ambulances don't ride very smooth. But after morphine and rest, by the 29th I had no pain at all. Rode my bike yesterday. Ol' BiscuitsNGravy wanted to get on that highway and head for the horizon. I'm anxious to get on her again soon, but the rain was pretty constant today. I'm still looking for a ride later on this month. I'll let you all know after I do a little scouting trip. BnG

I was wondering where you were at dave if i can be happy to try and make that ride before that white stuff shows up let me know when and we will see what we can do. hope your feeling better by the way

I'll be going in for surgery next Thursday, and I probably won't be able to ride for a couple weeks. It's been raining here, so it's been tough to get some time in before. Hopefully we won't see white stuff for a while.
