CB Antenna

I have a 2010 Nomad and recently added a Voyager trunk. A group of us are putting on J&M CB's and I need to find an antenna that will fit on the trunk like the Voyager antenna.

My question is will the stock Voyager Antenna work on this application - there is no Voyager radio on my bike only the aftermarket CB.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thank you...

An AM/FM antenna will NOT work as a CB antenna. You could fry your radio if you tried it. I'd suggest you check out tourpack mounted CB antennas from Harley Davidson.

I would take Scotts suggestion, the cable is also different with a CB, You could make a bracket and use a car CB antenna but the HD one would be the neatest way to do it.

Mike... I know it's been a while but if you haven't got an antenna for your CB yet check out J&M's website, they have antennas that mount to your License plate frame, and they have a new Trunk mount CB Antenna as well....

A plate-mount antenna may not work with a tourpak sitting above it. Just sayin'...

bogatyrs. I see you are in Southern Ontario. There is a shop near the 401 and Hwy 97 near Ayr that specializes in Cb's.
I tried to Goggle it but cant find it. A lot motorcycle owners go there. He should be able to give you all the information you need ?

CJ you are exactly right that would be more for a Vaquero or a Nomad but they also have a New Trunk mounted antenna that mounts like the AM / FM antenna that would be perfect for a Voyager...

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you could get a tourpak mount CB antenna kit from a Harley dealer.
