I just wish it was over so my beloved Cleveland browns can steal denvers offensive coach and
seattles defensive coach.

The referees in the Denver game looked to be fair to both sides The ones in the Seahawks game looked like the favored the Seahawks (Just saying)

Sherman is a product of Compton, CA, not to mention the younger generation. As an old school guy...I can't say that I approve of his mouth-running antics. He is not dumb...don't anyone make that mistake....he graduated second in his high school and from Stanford University. He is a smart guy who is the best at his position. He led the league in interceptions while at the same time had the fewest passes thrown at him. He plays with a chip and while we would all like him to be more humble, that's not who he is. All of that said, name me one team that wouldn't jump at the chance to have him in their defensive backfield....??

As for fans tossing popcorn or whatever...there are a few classless knuckleheads in every rabid sports stadium is there not...?? It does not define the vast majority of Seahawk fans. Manning's vaunted receivers are gonna get mugged and pressed at the line like they haven't been all season. The Legion of Boom will have it's say...just you watch. I'm excited for the game...and more so to see Joel dig into his pocket to pay my lunch tab....!

Legion of Boom!

Do you remember the refs from the 2006 Super Bowl (2005 season-Seahawks-Steelers)...?? That game was stolen from us by the officials, so if they missed few calls in yesterdays game....I'm losing like ZERO sleep over it....just sayin'.....

I don't watch any football untill the super bowl, and I enjoy the commercials more than the game. But I still like Denver over the Seachickens. Bon apetite Joel. Sorry Kris.

Well I'm not going to go all Richard Sherman on you...not that cocky...just confident. I'd be lying if I said Peyton Manning doesn't scare the crap out of me....but the 'Hawks got to the Super Bowl by holding good offenses to low scores and scoring just enough themselves to win. I give you both games with the Saints as exhibit A and B. Drew Brees scorched the rest of the NFL....then hit a brick wall in Seattle....twice! The Seahawks have a really good defense and if anyone can put Manning off his game...it is them. I am hoping they can pull it off. As you say Greg...we will see...!

Ok Kris, you say the Broncos have never seen a defense like Seattle. In the regular season the top 4 defensive teams Denver played were ranked 7, 8, 12 and 14. They were 4-0 against that competition. Seattle's defense played against the 4, 11, 12 and 14 ranked offensives and were 4-1 against them (played Arizona twice and were 1-1). Pretty even in the regular season on who and what they saw.

Like you say, Denver has never seen an defense like Seattle but Seattle has never seen an offense like Denver. The top ranked offense they met was New Orleans and they are pretty much one dimensional as their running game sucks. Denver's was good when they needed it but hey, Peyton passes.

We shall see what they do and how it comes out in 2 weeks. But of course we all know what is going to happen.

Broncos WIN!!!!!!

For all the Seahawk fans who think they stand a chance in the Super Bowl (especially Netnorske and themoonpie).

Hey CJ....how about you and I have the same bet as Joel and Kris?

I do not like Richard Sherman the man but if you took the helmets off all the players and miked them all up so you could hear them I doubt there are many players any of us would like.

I also agree that SF got the shaft on that fumble....Seattle did not deserve to win the game, but they did! Stupid rule about the replay review. Maybe that was payback for the shaft Seattle got in the Super Bowl against the Steelers?Fox and the NFL want Manning to win this thing so don't expect Seattle to get any favors against Denver.

IMHO when the game is close you will see the Seahawks running the ball and throwing very short passes every chance they get. Anything to grind the clock and keep Manning off the field. Russel Wilson needs to run the ball more often if Seattle wants to win, it adds a whole new dimension for defenses to address. I get not running Wilson much in the regular season but this is the Super Bowl, the big enchilada, time to let it all hang out.

Seattle won't be at home so Denver does have 2 chances........slim and none.

So what do you say CJ???? You buying me lunch?

Sure Greg, I'll put your money where my mouth is. You're on! Seattle wins - I buy you lunch. Denver wins - you buy me lunch.

I agree with Schoeney. You will see much more read option and Wilson adding another dimension with his legs. He has been rolling out and looking to pass, but this time he will just be looking for the first down, not the big play. Doing so will chew up the clock, denying Manning as much time on the field as possble. It will be a grind-fest on the part of the Seahawks offense...and a FIELD DAY on the part of the defense...!

Slim and None........good call Greg!

Scott, I think that it is the lack of quality oxygen. They have an air stagnation alert (poor air quality) going on up there. The lack of oxygen is having an effect on their thought process. It's that or they have been smoking too much weed up there.
