Super Bowl-NW vs SW

Joel and I made a bet that if both the Broncos and Seahawks made the Super Bowl, whoever lost would buy the other lunch at the Rally on our Lolo Pass ride at Jack's Saloon. Nothing I love better than a free lunch....!

The 49'ers - Seahawks game was one of the sloppiest games I have seen in a long time, on the part of both teams. Prepare to have your ass handed to you by Manning and the Broncos.

I do love a meal paid for by Kris. After watching the Seachicken game and how they struggled I am confident that Kris will be buying. Let the mind games begin.

It was a 15 round heavyweight battle....like getting a root canal. We'll see....the only thing that kept San Fran in the game was Kap running out of the pocket and scrambling for major real estate. Manning, not so much. He is immobile...and with the Seahawks d-backs and linebackers pasting themselves like decals on the Bronco receivers...he will be rushed into throwing ill advised passes that are likely to be picked off. Number one offense vs number one defense. In baseball, good pitchers usually shut down good hitters....it will be the same against the Broncos. Go Seahawks....it is simply our time and destiny...!

The Sea hawks are more physical but Manning and the Broncos are going to surgically take them down.

Kris, you must have drank too much apple pie. San Francisco's offense is not in the same league as Denver. I'll take a savy veteran quarterback over some cocky loudmouth defensive backs. Seattle will have difficulty in covering the 4 wide receivers that Denver brings to the table. Keep drinking the pie, you'll need it in 2 weeks.

I'll take the underdog role every time, as will the 'Hawks. Denver is an early two point favorite....that's less then a field goal. The 'Hawks are masters of the takeaway turnover...led the NFL in that category. Like I said....when Manning gets to his third and fourth read....since he can't run, he will force a ball he shouldn't and will likely get picked off. Not only that, the 'Hawks will have Percy Harvin back in time for the game, and Denver's defense is not San Frans. Manning is having a record year, no doubt about it, but he has not faced a defense like the one he is about to. Should be epic either way....so you better buckle up!

Are the Seahawks going to bring their own refs to the game like they did against the 49er's?

PS: Richard Sherman... what a real class-act he is (isn't).

He obviously has no self-image problems. What a douchebag.

BTW, throwing food at seriously injured SF player NaVorro Bowman shows just how classy the "12th man" is.

Sherman is one of the best no doubt about it but his mouth is going to be a big distraction for the Seahawks.
Here is the rest of the story of Crabtree and Sherman, according to Sherman.

My money is on Manning and the Broncos

There will be no 12th man in the Meadowlands. For all we know it could be a raging snow storm or sub-zero Temps. In cold/snow conditions it's Denver going away. If it happens to be a rainstorm then Seattle has a chance.

Also, Seattle biggest problem will be the defensive substitutions which they are famous for. Manning runs a fast offence and there will not be time to run defensive players in and out. Watch, you will see them with their hands on their hips and even bent over a bit trying to catch their breath. He does it to everyone. He will do it to Seattle.
