The brand would be a BIG help.. BUT IMO with the work it needs it sounds a bit high.....again Im not much into trailers yet!
ALSO if you get the brand you can google it, PLUS ask here who has that brand for first hand info,,,,,,Rich

Would this be a cargo trailer to pull behind your bike, or a trailer to put your bike inside of to pull behind a car? For a bike trailer your bike pulls seems hig, but if it is a trailer you put your bike into, sounds like a great deal.

More details needed.

If it is a trailer to pull with your bike... that is WAY too much. Look for threads on here for how you can get a new trailer for no more work than this trailer requires.

If it is a trailer to haul your bike... that is a different scenario. I would need more details on it. (I would mention that torsion suspension needs to be inspected especially if it uses rubber torsion springs. Rubber will degrade over time with or without any use.) Typically a hauling trailer selling for $500 needs a lot of work and there are definitely "things" to inspect before buying -- if for no other reason, to have an idea what you'll need to fix or replace.

Like we said... give details.

In that case, $500 is to much in my opinion -- unless it there is something else we don't know.
