Thumbs Up Vaquero custom exhaust project - new pictures!!

The original idea: http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=23135

Well things are coming along since I first posted my idea (see above link).

I've been able to aquire the mufflers and since the last week or so has been cold and rainy, I decided to give up on riding for a while and get this project on a roll.

These mufflers are usually hung on a sport bike with a stainless steel strap, but I didn't find an easy way to use that strap, and would rather not have it messing up the look anyhow (sample pic at bottom). In these pictures, I've fashioned some brackets and taped them in place, ultimately to be properly riveted to the carbon fiber and use the bike's stock muffler mount locations.

The model mufflers I got are bolt-on, rather than slip-on, so I drew up some flanges and had them waterjeted complete.

More pictures and sound bites will come as I get there! :)
