WTB: Gas Tank for 2005 Titanium/Black

Hey guys I'm looking for a gas tank for my Nomad, It's started to leak at the weld near the bottom mount.
Unfortunately this is the new tank that was replaced a year and a half ago on the recall, can't get another from MaKaw.

Kawasaki should step up to the plate and replace the tank a second time.
Its hard to believe that 18 months ago you got a replacement tank that is now faulty.
Did they not solve the issue that causes the faulty weld to leak in the first place ?

Good question, my local Stealership said too bad, so sad, but they will only do it once. I will say that the dealers around here have pretty much been crap as far as service goes, customer and bike!

There are a few tanks on eBay but you would have to get them painted to match.

All the tanks I found on EBAY were dented to shit. There were only a couple of them, but I only looked for a few minutes so far, I'm keeping my eyes peeled there.

I would call Kawasaki direct and speak with customer service about it. I have done this in the past and they have honored the repair both times. I even had one dealer call me back and yell at me for calling the manufacturer. Not gonna say it will work for you...but it sure can't hurt anything to try.

Damn good idea OldSchool. I'll try that route as well.

If MawKaw won't fix it, and you have to get a used one, one off a '03-'08 1600 Classic is the same tank as on the 1600 Nomad.
