Nomad Windshield Stays

Looking for the fairing/cowling stays off a 05 Nomad 1600 D1 or any Nomad with the part numbers 35063-0209 and 35063-0210. Need to mount a fairing on my 03 1600 Classic and the mfg brackets need to mount to these stays.

Is the triple tree on the Classic drilled to mount these?

From what I have been told they will mount to the windshield stay holes for a regular classic windshield. Won't know for sure until I get a pair and can always mod one hole if needed. The part numbers for the triple tree and COVER-FORK,CNT are the same with the same holes shown on the cover, so I think they will work without any modification needed.

I cant be certain about the 05 models but I just removed the windshield from my 2002 nomad and there is no possible way to mount it on my buddies classic.....we tried. The tree on the nomad is alot heavier and larger than the classic, at least with my year. I would question the forum to see if anyone has managed to do it before spending unnecessary cash.
