White Wall Tires

I have a 2008 Nomad and will going on a 2,000 mile plus trip in August. I'd like to do that trip on new tires and am intereseted in Whitewalls if possible. Just give me the site or brand and size for whitewalls if you know them.
Thanks and Ride Safe,
Dave

White Wall Tires

Two of the more popular choices I have seen are the Metzler 880's, and Dunlop D404's. Both are available in WWW.

However, I have never found a WWW tire available in the 170/70-16 for the rear. Most guys I have talked to have put the150/80-16 (which is for the front) on the rear also, with no reported problems.

It seems to be one of the few ways to get wide whitewalls on both the front and back. You back tire will be a little narrower than stock......

Recently, a few guys have expressed concern with the Metzler's not holding up.

Good luck!

Just wondering if you could provide data for the drivers backrest that you have shown in the picture?

I put on a set of 880's whitewall on my '03 about 2 month's ago. They are awesome and it really changes the look of the bike.

Ive had the ME880 WWW but switched to Dunlop WWW because of the wobble that developed. So far the Dunlops are great.
