I am planning on taking off for Eureka Springs and the VROC Reunion Rally on Tuesday, Sept 15. Have wanted to attend this for 3 years but have been unable to. Short of me dying, I will be on my way.

Started the blog for the trip so you can enjoy.

My work schedule changed or I would be seeing you there. I'll just have to live vicariously through your blog instead.

If you've never riden the area around Eureka Springs, you're in for a treat. Last went to the Reunion in 2003; Vacation time just never seems to work out since then. I'll be checking my Lottery Ticket tomorrow morning; If I win I'll see you there. If not, I'll be looking forward to your blog. Ride Safe.

Watchman and Liz, see you there. Everyone else, wish you could make it. We shall see about the roads. It will be interesting to compare them to the Rockies and Black Hills. Compared to where I live, anything is better. Well, maybe not the middle of Kansas.

I'm guessing that Waterman took on a little water during his ride to ES. At least looked like that on the weather maps. No posts to his blog because laptop got flooded??

Based on VROC posts by other attendees it looks like there are no posts to his blog because there's no WiFi at the hotel.

Liquid sunshine. Rained here too. But we really needed it.

Hello everyone. Made it home just about 30 minutes ago. Yes there was no Wi fi at the hotel. However there was really never any time to partake in the computer. To much chatting, drinking, chatting, drinking, drinking. Oh did I say we drank.

Will work on them more today. Great trip. Rained on me for maybe 100 miles down there when riding and 60 miles going home this morning. And that was a cold 60 miles. Rain, with winds of 30+ and temps close to 40.

Glad you made it home safely. Knew you were there because you weren't able to dodge the camera.

Waterman could not remember meeting me on the trip to Custer. I guess Rick and I didn't make much of a lasting impression. Anyway Rick and his wife Teresa had to leave ES early because they had a Grandson arrive early. So a big welcome to Kolby Vanlandingham, I hope I spelled it right. Liz and I got home about 6:30 Sunday evening and missed all the rain coming home. I wish I could say the same thing for going down there. And so now we start planning for the Talimena ride in October.

Welcome back Joel, sort of went from summer to winter while you were gone, as you may have noticed. Vicki and I did our fall colors ride into the mts on Saturday and that might be about it for the year, at least for the colors. Sounds like you had a good trip, at least for plenty of liquids.
