Not exactly sure I'd call that a "cliff" and there are 5 people. Surely, they can flip the bikes over and get back on the road. Worst case, they have to ride slow to the nearest dealer.

They went down very slowly, I would have picked the bikes up and continued on my way.

It looks like some people need more than two wheels.

Loose sand in the road. 900 lb bikes. The car wasn't able to continue on without spinning a tire.

Some here are a little quick to judge.

Glad the guy with the camera was smart enough not to leave his bike stopped in the blind curve.

Not sure what the optimal speed is to have a bike roll over on you.

At the very least, it would not be fun to have to pick those back up on a slope like that.

I saw the sand but if you hit it with any speed you should be on the other side of the road and why did the lead bike go off after the trailing bike.

It appears to me the first bike went off because he turned around to see what his buddy was in the process of doing and steered where he was looking.

I think they got their motorcycle endorsements on Friday and went out and rented a couple of Harley's on Saturday. How's that for judging.

I don't know what they were doing but I can tell you if you fixate on the edge of the road that is where you go.

So don't judge a road by it's shoulder I guess.

Watch it slowly. The first bike down was the lead bike. The lady with the white helmet was just ahead of the crouch rockets. They probably hit the brakes hard while passing the lead in the curve and was in to high of a gear causing their bike to stall and their weight pulling them over. That driver put his foot down as the bike was just leaving the asphalt.

You right about which bike was in the lead. If you watch the first corner they barely rolled through it. When you slow down that much you lose control of your bike. The second corner the first rider that went down said he hit a hole in the road. Once again when you roll through the corners that slow you don't have the control you do with some speed but if they would have hit the sand with more speed it could have been way worse. The second bike that went off the road just fixated on the first. He was past the hole and the sand but saw his buddy going down and drove right off the road.

That's what it looked like to me....and I think the same happened to the lead guy, after avoiding the pothole he was probably was looking at the shoulder and headed for it. Like mentioned, your bike will go where you are staring at
