I can guess at what some of you do or do not do for a living but was wondering what a typical Nomad rider does for an occupation.

To start this out, I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Also have a Journeyman plumbing license and a Journeyman and Contractor HVAC license in the State of Idaho. The latter may sound a bit odd since I live in Vegas. Plumbing and Heating was the family business and I learned the trade.

My friend who owns a Nomad in SLC is a field engineer for a software company.

I have a degree in accounting, but have never worked 1 day as an accountant. I have spent the past 16 years working in IT, most of that as a Unix Systems Administrator, but changed positions within the company earlier this year and now I support e-commerce applications. Prior to IT, I worked in technical fields: auto mechanic, repaired jet fighters for the Marines, security systems installer, and technical field service for a large office equipment company.
