private messages

I am trying to send a pm but it appears to just dissapear when I hit send. There is nothing in my "sent" folder. Please help.

You can't send a PM to a member who hasn't signed up with the new site. You could go back to the old site and invite them over, if they haven't come over yet.

Feels like the show on TV, I think its ghost whisperer, where the main character helps dead people cross over into the other world. lol

You need to go into usercp and turn on send a copy of a pm to your sent items.folder.

While we are on the topic of PMs. Is it correct that you can only have 50 messages saved at any given time?

Yep, they have increased it recently. It was originally 50.

In usercp where is it you can turn on send a copy of a pm to your sent items folder? My sent messages don't show but I don't see anything to change.

In usercp and under Private Messages, click on "Send New Message". At the bottom of the screen you will get is an "Additional Options" section. Check the box for "send copy of message to sent messages folder."
