You seem to have it broken down into very nice rides for each day. That will be some awesome scenery you will get to see.

That's alot of miles. If I went, I would have made about a week of it, too (1800 miles one way on the super slab...about 2200 taking the scenic route). Probably would have done it in about 5 days out and 3 days back.

Looking forward to seeing you Bill. I'll be in Kanab Saturday 5/26/2012. One day 479 miles. Shortest rally ride ever for me! Custer was a doosie!

Actually, Kanab is farther for you than Mesquite was, unless you went to Mesquite by way of Palm Springs or something.

Once you get west of Trinidad, the real fun begins. The sections between Trinidad and Cortez, especially South Fork up through Powder Horn to west of Gunnison, will be spectacular! Beautiful country to ride.

Wimp, Crescent City was farther for us than Custer was for you. 479 miles in one day. Must be an all time record for you BD.

you Joel! Custer was 500+ miles per day each way for me! Didn't I hear you whining about a long boring road in the heat you took to the Rally in the Redwoods?
