Here it is thought I would let you see the best hitch out there for our 1700 and down Vulcan's. Heavy duty steel plate no welds just an awesome hitch.

Made in Canada Ehhh

Yes I keeping my trailer and going to still tow. I can change my mind you know.

It's a much cleaner looking hitch than the others.

BYW It's not "new" and recall seeing them on Ebay over a year ago when looking for my bike. It's not well documented and your picture of the hitch uninstalled helps - thanks. I passed it up cause I couldn't understand how it mounts from their pictures and wasn't well documented.

This hitch might work well with 2 into 1 exhaust (V&N or Freedom) which I had issues with hitch. I have tried a Marvellous hitch and there was no way it would work. Chuckster's managed to make it work but I had to cut/notch Freedom bracket slightly. V&H will require more modification to make work with either exhaust and not worth effort.

This hitch might work without modification. Or might be able to slip hitch in between the bracket and the saddle bracket and use longer bolts. The exhaust would hang lower.

Can you take some some pictures mounted before you put your saddle bags back on please? I think I have enough pictures to determine if it will work with my exhaust. I created a thread already so others know what I went through.

Great video Dave !! Glad to see that your still going to travel and use the trailer . I thought the video was going to show you installing it on the newly built bike . I was hoping for a sneak peek !!

How's the bike coming a long , is the paint done ? I'm waiting patiently for the grand unveiling .

yes will take some pictures of it mounted with out bags on when that comes to be.

Nope have not yet gotten the painted parts back. Have seen the parts with main color painted and wow what a nice job he has done. He is not fast that is for sure takes his time and has the graphics to do yet that I wanted done on the bike. I hoping I see it before my 104 year of living. Probably in next couple weeks I believe.

Lumberjack what type of exhaust do you have?

I meant the newest hitch out there. Yes believe it is a cleaner hitch than the others. I have installed hitches before on this bike and yes this hitch will make like the others a little lower but not really something that you would really pick up on or notice by looking at hitch and pipes. You could not see the slight drop on my old hitch a Chuckster's and I had the Cobra Tri Ovals with them. I am now going with Freedom Performance Tru Duals with this hitch and it installs same way as the Chuckster's using the exhaust bolts and yes you do have to use slightly longer bolts to hold the pipes and hitch in place and they do come with the longer bolts included in the hitch.

To me this is a much cleaner looking hitch and stronger than any out there so far as is one piece of solid steel and exact fit.

That hitch has been around for awhile. I've had mine for a year and a half and really like it. Also very easy to install. Just remove the bags, and take the bolts out that hold on the mufflers. They give you new bolts that are longer to allow for the thickness of the hitch. Pulls so well I'd forget the trailer is behind me if I didn't keep looking in the mirrors.

Thanks for the video answered most of my question. Just had my new bike delivered last week and am in the market for a hitch, I think I just found it. Three feet of snow here so not that big of a rush, LOL
Dave thanks again

I do wish allot of the members would post more video's or pictures as it does educate us on what is available out there and gives us idea's. That why I do this trying to help everyone out on here I try to post on every item or idea I put into my bike to get feed back good or bad.

I wish more used the system in the way I do as that would be a benefit for us all.

Yup, this is exactly what I am doing and I am keeping it all in one thread so it is easy to find instead of making a new post for every single thing. This also helps others because they may see something in the thread they are interested in that they might not have found because they didn’t know about it or don’t know what to even begin searching for to find information. I like being able to share information with others so we can all be benefit from it and seeing what I have documented can make the job easier for someone else if they are interested in doing the same way.

Thank you so much for the post =Buckey1313. Just had a hard drive failure and had to plug in the Back up system drive. 1 year old back up. (I'm Embarrassed at the age of my last back up) But I found your post and am happy I can find once again, the hitch I have chosen to purchase. What a data base this forum is. SWEET Back In the saddle again, Well ...after the Ice on the roads is gone and it is above 20f. Asking for a lot in February in Minneapolis,MN. But it is a start.

This guy/company has been in business A LOT longer than people think. I bought a trailer hitch for my Nomad 1600 from him back in 2007. That hitch mounted the same way between the saddlebag supports and pipes (replaces the sway bar on the 1600) ...but it had a removable ball holder like most vehicle hitches do.

Not sure how I feel about this new bolt-on solution since I only put the ball on when trailering.

My concern also, I hate it when my ……..s hang out in the cold. And I have not seen one of these on a Vaquero Yet. (A 2016 white one).
Also What is the Import=Shipping costs to the US ?? The Sagebrush engine guards was not an issue but it was a very light weight ship weight. Guess I will give them a call.
I do like the design and the cost.

It might have a permanent ball I agree that is something I considered but then I thought back I never did on the Chucksters take the ball assembly off once I installed it. I had the Chuckster's also. I agree Joe at Chuckster's is a great guy he was great to deal with also I have no complaint with him also.

I have no complaint with this company I phoned them and they answered any questions I had and shipment was 5 days to my door after placing order.

I just like the seamless look of this hitch style no welds at all. To me only it is a cleaner style for sure for what I want. Not for everyone but for me it fits my bike idea to a T.
