I tried them a couple of years ago and they only rise slightly with no pull back. You can't pivot them due to hitting chrome tank cover.

I can take a pic but measuring shows 2 up and 2 back. Took a lot of time adjusting both up and back to get perfect

??? I see about 2” of rise alone, and then his risers are tilted back about 8-10 degrees, so there’s some pullback right there, his bars are tilted back another 3-4 degrees and now add in the angle of the forks and that further multiplies any pullback gained from the rise alone.

The Rox Riser install requires you to move the riser forward in the stock supports and just snug the bottom bolts with some friction on the riser insert while they are still accessible. Then rotate them forward but not so far forward that you cannot get an allen wrench in the head of the front bolts. If you have them rotated too far back they WILL hit the chrome tank cover. If you rotate them to MAX allowable forward rotation with an allen wrench inserted they will not hit the tank. GUARANTEED

The perfect position is obtained by placing a tall allen wrench in the head of front forward large bolts securing the risers in the lower factory supports. Rotate the risers as far forward possible while allowing you to be able to secure the bolts. Then to keep the bars from hitting the fairing turn full lock and rotate the bars to the maximum up position just before they hit the fairing. Mine are adjusted and have more room than stock. I do not hot the tank cover or the fairing and have a lot of up and back from stock. Estimated ar 2” both directions.

Thanks, Now I get it. Could not see much with the other pics. These show me what I am up against and how to be successful.

I was able to finally get a chance to ride with the risers. While they provide exceptional comfort they flex a little more than I prefer. I think I am gonna get a grasshopper and see if that gives me support and pushes me forward as I have read by some.

I am going to list them in the classifieds for half of what I paid for them, $60 plus shipping. Send me a PM if interested. Thanks

Are you sure the Rox risers are flexing ? Do you have the clamps torqued to spec ?

You are not able to torque the Rox Risers due to the design. But yes, they were tight enough. You have to use an allen wrench alone, nonsocket style.

So are you saying the Rox risers are actually flexing or the clamps are allowing the bars to move ?

The risers act as a fulcrum giving more leverage on the stock towers. Its not harmful, just allows more flex due to the design. Neither the bar or riser is actually rotating.

I only had the bike out for the 3rd time and my tank trim started a horrible rattle. At first I thought it was the bars making the noise so that caused me to prematurely remove them. I maybreinstall them tomorrow and see if I was hasty in taking them off.

So its the rubber bushings in the stock clamp mount that are flexing ?

Is it the tank trim that is rattling or the ring around the ignition switch ?

The ring around the ignition. I used painters tape around the ring itself to buffer and some 3m double sided tape under the lip of the ring. Also 3m tape on the ridge below the gas cap that sticks up from the tank itself. There is no flex now in the ring area.

Yes, it is the rubber in the factory base riser that is flexing.
