Ivans tune with other mods

About to take a plunge and do ivans tune. S
My question is has anyone left their existing fuel related mods along with ivans tune.

For example power commander, dobeck ejk etc?

Thanks

My understanding is that you don't need that stuff after doing Ivans

I think you can leave a PC3 in there zeroed out, but all other fuel controllers have to come off, or they'll interfere. Ivan himself has posted about that very thing, so search the archives.

My EJK is hanging on a nail in the shed... Best place for it.

Edit: Ivan didn't post about that - it was in a PM... I knew I'd seen it somewhere! He's referring to my EJK tuner, but most others run similar logic, bar the PCV.

He told me to Zero out my PC. I eventually took it off. It's not needed

Well ivans was amazing. I had it back in the bike in 3 days total. Although I only got to ride it 10 miles it runs amazing. I had it tuned in pretty well with my other mods but its so much smoother now.

Definitely on my short list of mods to get done asap. I plan on keeping the air intake and exhaust stock for now.

Same here and it is fantastic, No need to remove the Rays throttle mod. I like the quick response. Some prefer the slow roll on the throttle, I like the rays mod with the Ivan Flash.

My only issue with the "quick turn throttle mod" like Rays, and why I removed mine - was that the throttle is so very responsive after the flash, that maintaining a constant speed around town especially over a bumpy surface - was extremely difficult. Our suburban streets down here are badly potholed, yours might be better.

I simply find I can better control the throttle now that it's removed... It always felt like the beast was snapping at the chain & trying to toss me off with both mods there.

I am with Peg on the throttle mod. I removed mine for the same reason and sold it to a member here.

Yes you did, And Thank you once again. I love it on the bike even with the flash. But Honestly, I just got used to having it that it just feels natural to me.

And..... Maybe I'm to lazy to take it off??? Either way it's OK on there for me.

I did have the same issue with the 1st flash but the updated one eliminated the jerkiness at low speed. I like the quicker response but could see how it might take getting used to on the 1st flash. I ride in Houston traffic and absolutely have to be able to get up to speed and out of the way in a hurry
