Tell me I've bought the correct exhaust!

Hi All,

I've just purchased a 2015 Vaquero. This is the model (& up) that has the O2 sensor in the right exhaust slip on section.

I've just ordered these Vance & Hines from ebay

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vance-Hin...IAAOSwaB5Xlj7P

& I'll order an O2 eliminator also.

Please ignore my ignorance (& Just to keep my blood pressure down) but can someone confirm these will fit my bike?

& also is there anything else i need to do after purchasing the slip ons & eliminator to ensure it's running OK?

Thanks

Vince

The best thing to do is have the bike Ivanized and that will take care of everything including bypassing the 02 sensor.

Hi there,

Thanks for that - My bad, I forgot to add I'm in Sydney Australia. Send the ECU to USA isn't something I'm looking at doing just yet, as I'll be without a bike for at least a month (& summer just started here a few days ago!)

For the short term is there anything else I need to do? & mainly will these fit my 2015 Vaquero?

Thanks again

Vince

Yes those are the correct ones, I recently put them on my 2016 Vaquero. +1 for sending out your computer to get Ivan's tune on it. Will take care of the missing sensor, and you won't need that eliminator. Also, as a side bonus, the bike runs 500% better.

I sent my ECU to Ivan from NZ... twice. Once for the flash when it first came out (I was a very early adopter), and then again for a re-reflash. Two weeks plus one day both times until I put it back in the bike.

Even though it was an excruciating wait, it was easily worth it. I've gone from "On the verge of trading to a Street Glide", to "This bike is a KEEPER!" primarily due to Ivan's magic.

He's offering a discount too at the moment... but on the other hand I hear what you're saying about summer. It was more off-season I sent mine out, both times.

You can always weld a bung on the new pipes for the sensor for the season.

Then during the off season send the PCM to Ivan and remove the bung or just cap it off.

There is always a way around an issue.

Welcome Vince- 2 week turnaround from country Western Australia- as we don't have a down season I sent mine to Ivan when I was going on holidays. Took me a year to get confident enough to send it, go for it- you won't believe the improvement ( but the exchange rate sucks).
