Crying 2002 Nomad up for grabs

After much deliberation, I have come to the conclusion I need to sell my Nomad. After our wreck last year my wife is nervous while riding and my left leg doesn't work as well as it should. Hard to get on and off as well as balance at stops. With that in mind I bought a 2007 Lehman Suzuki C90 trike with 3300 miles on it. My bike is located in Iowa. It has Harley tour pak on a Wompus rack. Highway pegs, top rails for saddlebags, accessory outlet,Fire and Steel drivers backrest, throttle lock, BRAND NEW Interstate battery, and new rear tire with less than 3000 miles on it. Front tire is like new also. Bike has less than 21000 miles on it. Will get pictures on line when time allows. Bike is probably an 8 or 9 on a scale of 10 cosmetically. Asking $5750 or reasonably close offer. PM if need pictures right away can send by phone. Thanks, Abbo

Good luck with the sale, I think you will find a buyer fairly quick if its that clean a bike.

Time to try and sell my 2002 Nomad again. Just started it and let it run till good and warm. It has 20180 miles on it, new rear tire, bag top rails, new INTERSTATE battery accessory outlet, and in dang fine condition overall - 9 out of 10 , if I do say so myself. Can send pics via cell phone or maybe from computer. Will sell as stock bike for $5k Thanks, Abbo

Not to hijack, but what kind of injury did you sustain on your leg? I was hit in Nov13 and broke my left tibia and fibula completely. There is a rod that goes down the inside of my shin bone (tibia) from top to bottom, and some screws holding stuff together. I am in physical therapy now, and wondering how much this will affect my left side when riding.

I sustained this injury several years ago in a MVA. My tibia has a nice titanium rod down the middle of it...two screws up top and two at the bottom. My orthopedic doc told me there are pro football players probably playing with these things. Short answer: shouldn't affect you at all. Once everything heals about the only time you will notice is going through the metal detector at an airport or courthouse.

Oh, and good luck with the sale of the bike.

If it is truly titanium you shouldn't have any issues with metal detectors. I have a plate and 8 screws in my shoulder and it doesn't setoff any of them. Also have two plates and 6 screws in my neck. I don't even have a medical device card for them but do have one for the lens implant when they did the cataract.

Grin

My injury was actually a massive hematoma(bruise) that went from my hip to knee on left side. It came out from my leg originally about 3 inches but now 17 months later it is down to less than an inch. Apparently there is major nerve damage as I can't feel anything when it is touched, always burns, and can't bend it as I should, BUT I/we are alive.

Truth to be alive! Although, it's been some rough times living alone and with a broken leg. Doing laundry has been my bane for the last 4 months!

Hoping to ride again by April :)

Bump for the bike!!!
