2317 miles on a 12-year old bike? WTF would you buy a motorcycle to ride < 200 miles a year? Huge waste of money.

"The owner was fanatical". Well he certainly wasn't riding it. If you think about it, it's only needed 1 oil change if you go by mileage.

I'd be very leary about buying a bike with that few miles for the age. Seals are probably dried up. I buy my bikes to ride. My 2011 Street Glide has 4k+ on it already and I've only had it since the middle of June. Between three bikes this year I've rode 15K+ miles. I keep them nice but they aren't trailer queens, either. I agree CJ, what a waste of money on the 99 Nomad.

A lot of people have to have a bike and then park it in the garage for people to look at.

I agree, I see a HD sitting out in a driveway every weekend.

I would be more woried about the tires. If they are 12 years old they are no good and could have a major blowout. I would replace them before i rode it.

If it was an 02 or newer Id be interested in it, but a 99 has a few things about it that would keep me away unless it sells for a really good price.

Current bid of 3050. Much more it wont be worth the worries of dried seals, PoG etc. Not when you can get a newer model for around 4k.

Local dealer near me has an 02 or 04 with i think 22k miles on it for 4200. Only flaws I saw were 2 scratches in top of tank.

If it goes up any more it wont be worth it, just as canedriver mentioned. There are FI bikes available for a little more and they will be a lot more desirable.

Just as well Gerry, It would have been a good buy under $3000.00
