Has anyone painted there NOMAD WHITE, just thinking about painting mine pearl white, would love to see a picture of one already done.

I don't know the origin of this, but white motorcycles are considered bad luck and some painters won't paint a bike white. Just something I read once, so take it for what it's worth.

Not a nomad but I painted the GF vtx last spring, white with peal silver.

It actually makes it whiter then pearl white which comes out a light cream color

I think by the winking face you are kidding but I actually have heard that for the time I got interested in bikes at the age of 15.
Obviously just superstition as I think the rider has more to do with it than the color. :)

If you can find it there is a Discovery Channel show called "Twist the Throttle" that did a history of Kawasaki episode. This was really cool and green bikes were considered to be very bad luck in the world of racing. Kawasaki had a new design that they were very confident would take the world by storm. They were so confident that they shocked everyone by painting it green. They then went on to dominate racing for several years. (Sorry, don't remember all the details as to which model this was.) I don't think green is really considered bad luck any more.

A person should try and make their own luck. I don't believe any of the colors are bad luck and number 13 doesn't bother me.

A person should have the color bike they want. I have seen a lot of white police cycles. They look sharp.

If I keep my '07 long enough it will be painted pearl white. I first mentioned it a couple of years ago. I may do it next summer.

I've kicked the idea around about repainting my 2000 white. Considered a gold flake or something of the kind. I really like my stock color purple, but would like just a little more pizzaz ???. Contemplating maybe a two tone, Pearl white and candy purple, but darker like the stock.

I want to paint mine a metallic pearl orange. Maybe with gold flake in it. I haven't seen an orange Nomad yet.
