Antlers Talimena Fall Rally!!

This was our first rally almost three years ago now. Haven't missed one since. Victor and Katy are great hosts and all of the people you meet are just fantastic.

It just won't be the same without Jamie. No one will know when to get up and clean the bikes.

This is the sort of thing that happens when you're reliable, dependable and responsible.
Personally, I try to avoid that sort of conduct. ;)

Seriously, Sorry you can't make it.

Sounds good Mike. I have to work Tuesday night so I'm planning on catching a nap Wednesday morning and leaving from Pasadena between 1130 and Noon; and heading up 45 to Huntsville before sliding over on 19 through Riverside, Crockett, Palestine, etc. but the route is negotiable.
http://tinyurl.com/PasadenaToAntlers shows to be 360 miles at just under 7 hours.

LW, that's pretty much the same route I took last year. Turned out to be a great route, very little traffic and good solid roads with enough scenery to keep thing interresting. Looks like there are at least four bikes coming from around the Houston area. Lets put together a plan and ride in together if that works for the rest. For me, it's a natrual to go through Huntsville from Magnolia. I can pick you guys up anywhere along 45 from 2920 and up. That is Spring Cypress Rd. at old town Spring to most folks.

Ive done the 59 to Nacogdoches route before en-route to Paris, Talimena and then on into Arkansas. Thought the 45/19 route would work this time just to see something different.

The more bikes the merrier, and the more visible for that matter.
I work nights on the 27th, and will be pointing the front wheel north about 11-1130 after a short nap to keep the sleep-monster away. Hopefully that timing works for others, if not, I'll chase the sound of your pipes until I catch up.

Ive been up 59 too many time to count, but the route through Trinity and beyond is, in my opinion, a better route with fewer stops and better roads. If you are leaving around 11 or so, I can pick you up at Spring cypress rd and the freeway probably about one hour into your ride. Call me when you leave and I'll take off for the meet up point. Should get there about the same time as you arrive. 2812483368.

To borrow from George Peppard's "Hannibal Smith" character from the A-Team: "I love it when a plan comes together"

I was in La Porte at Sulzer Hickman last Wednesday on business. Took in lunch in Kemah at Landry's on the Boardwalk. Ate inside this time Larry. It was even too hot for the Seagulls.

IR turbine rotor for refrigeration unit there for repairs. They unstacked the rotor and found corrosion under the blade roots. Shaft will have to be replaced.
