Took the plunge!!!!!
Not sure where to post this but since I ride a 1500, I'll drop it here. A riding buddy has been after me for a while to try this and I have to admit I've been a little curious. I was on the web couple of weeks ago being nosey and ran across a new leftover 17 Voyager for 12k in Fl. I called to inquire and was asked questions about how I would get it home and financing and my time in the saddle and just nonsense. I told them to make it happen and let me figure out the rest. Long story short, no call back so I will keep my money. Next day my buddy shows me this 1999 gem with 17k on the clock at a dealer about an hour away. I dont mind older bikes and I can't find a scratch on it. This baby is pristine. Anyway, thats my garage door it sits in front of. What ya think? Sorry about the flipped images.

Yea, its a really nice bike, think you'll like it. Do yourself a favor, do a complete service on it, filters and oils, etc.

Nice Ultra.
Say the same thing after a couple thousand miles. I sold my 1500 Nomad and Meanie after about 300 miles on my 16 Road King.

Sharp looking ride!!!! Hope you enjoy many safe, smooth miles on it. I'm still using that rack & backrest you sent me, just mounted a large trunk on it!
Take care. |
