Ricky, what kind of air mod is that? Did you do the Caddman kit?

Matt, that's a K&N filter kit. It's meant for a car but just happened to fit perfectly on our stock backing plate. And yes I did the duel Caddman . With the stock pipes debaffled and TFI in place it sounds pretty good I think. It has some roar when you open it up but not that annoying loudness you might get from after market pipes.

Thanks for your compliments. I'm real happy with how it's turning out. I do have some additional painting to be done in the off season this fall/winter.
Side covers and possibly the trunk.

Rickyboy,
I ordered these hard lowers as well! They are still in the box in my living room. lol I know that you are having a hard time uploading pics but I would really appreciate a close up pic of how you mounted the brackets on the bottom of them. Also, how do the sliding vents work? They seem like they might scrape once they are painted. Is that the case?
Btw That's a fine looking machine you have there!

Get off the couch and get busy with the lowers. I'll try to get some photos of the clamps and where they hook up to the bar and the lower.
I tried to keep the clamp and where I drilled the hole as low as possible so to make it harder to see. Just pre-install the lower so you can mark the lower with a punch so you know where the hole is going to be drilled.

The vent slides fine without scratching or marking it. It seems to be fine with the plastic edging on the vent hole. It doesn't slide as smooth as I would like but it's fine. No marking. Just as a heads up, use a heat gun to soften both the inner edging of the vents when you install it, and when you put the outer edging on finishing the lower. The oven idea in the instructions just won't do it. Good luck. I'll get busy on those photos for you.

Thanks for the comment on the bike redjay. See you at the rally?
