we weathered the storm that came thru our area

we have a high winds (straight line) around 70 miles per hour come thru our town of macon. We lost large limbs and power around 12:30 am Sunday :'( and just got back on around 6 PM tonight, so glad we have electricity.
Jim has been cleaning up the large limbs and trash since monday morning. Just wish I could of helped him, but duty calls at work. The yard is clean and mowed as of today. The only thing left is the small shed lost it shingles and that will be the next project on the list.
Had a lot of damage around the area, some people are still without power and they are still cleaning up. We were very lucky to only have the damage we did. Just wanted to let everyone know we were just a little busy lately.

Glad y'all came out of it with nothing major. I bet Jim was ready to get back on a utility truck and help get the power back online. This year has been one to remember with severe weather. Sure hope the hurricane season doesn't match up with the spring storms and flooding.

We just had a thunderstorm come through packing 60 mph winds with hail and tons of rain.

Nothing damaged, but it's a little unusual for this to come through our area near the first of July. We'll see what the summer holds.

Glad everyone is OK on your end Liz.

Glad yall are OK. We got nothing in Fort Worth today but hot, humid, and dry. This has been the year for mean weather.

Glad to hear y'all are OK we had one come thru here yesterday but other than a bunch of tree limbs that we have to pick up we made just fine they said that we also had 70mph winds this is getting to be to much.
