Reattach gas tank

Afternoon guys!
I have a 2004 Vulcan Nomad 1500 FI and I recently had to remove the gas tank for some repairs. I'm going to reattach the tank and for the life of me can not figure out what this wire harness goes to. Anybody have any ideas?
It's right next to the guage cluster harness on the driver side. It's 2 wires and each wire has a double female end on it

They look like aftermarket connectors ?
If you cant find a place for them to attach to on the gas tank wiring then hook up what you can and try it ?
Maybe they were for an accessory that is no longer on the bike ?

They are factory 12v connectors for accessories.
