The fuel pump disassembled with both the new and old pickup screen shown. Note the black Mitsubishi ribbed grommet which can be a weakness and, for me, should be replaced after you pull the pump.

Don't know why the image does not show up. I can't see or click on other images either. I don't know what's up with that.

Thanks. Yes I know it's my pic but is the Insert Image not work now? That's the link I inserted and it used to be the only step. I noticed I could open the original link I posted if I opened it in a new window.

Anyway, I hope the pic helps to visualize what parts are involved with a pump repair.
