I do plan on trying to redesign them in the off season so it doesn't contact or I may even order some tubing and bend up a set of my own. I usually make my own bars but I just haven't had the time.

maybe there's hope for me yet , at this point I'm not sure if the shield I have on my bike is stock or not . I do really like the look of the 12" apes and was planning the 21" wheel .

More research is needed on my part . Bike is still rather new to me !! But lovin it .
