Total mileage for the years?! Down here in Bama, we still have 77 days before 2017. Sound to me like you need to relocate. Best weather for riding has just got here.

But yah, your mileage for your riding time is good, real good. I keep saying "one of these days......". Got a friend who rides year around with his gear. He had 112000 for 3 years time on the bike and he's a truck driver. Lucky bastard.

I put 12k on from last summer till this summer. I work a lot of hours and have to travel so I think I did good.

I do good to get 2000 a year . But thinking I will start planning early for next year and see if I can raise it a little each year till retirement anyway don't have to worry about needing a new Bike since the Nomad hit 13000 while We were at Antlers .

Having a goal does not take away from enjoyment of riding, at least not for me. I ride to ride, but I do like to have an idea of the miles ridden, too. I look at it as, "Wow, this was a good year" or "Damn, I need more me time on the bike next year." It's all good whether you keep up with the miles ridden or not.

And, yeah, I'm kinda proud that I did a 7K mile cross country ride, the cross country part (I did visit and ride with friends, mostly in Colorado) almost all by myself when I had only been riding for about 5 years and was 60 years old.

Congrats Gene! Very good riding total. I only put in about 6,000 miles this year. Hope to do better as time goes on.
